Ok, so it's going to be a busy, busy week. Even if we weren't leaving in 6 days work alone would swamp us, but the Burning Man craze is reaching a fever pitch and I HAVE to post some old pics so welcome to the polaroid edition of phototopia.
This to me is polaroid as art. Bar none, i think it's my favorite polaroid ever.

Sara @ our first Burning Man, 1999

Craig, Burning Man 1999
I love this pic because it has its own story. Taken last year just before the burn, Si, Thairin and I wanted to capture the moment. What we didn't know was that our friend Lance was sitting behind us or that he was even at the Man. Somehow, out all of the 30,000 people Lance could've ended up next to at the Burn, he happened to be right behind us AND showed up in our pic before we even knew he was there. His is the little head right behind mine. He's also the only one in focus.

And Mario who we knew would be out on the playa last year, but we just kept running into him at the most random times which was great because Mario's the kind of guy you always want to run into.
